News & Events

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the Warrenton Town Council meeting on Tuesday, May 14th at 7:00pm at Town Hall (18 Court Street). Come and voice your support for trail development projects . . . specifically connecting the Timber Fence (in Old Gold Cup) Trail to WARF.

Congratulations to Larry Miller!

Congratulations to our friend and colleague, Larry Miller, Director of Fauquier County Parks and Recreation!  Larry recently received the American Trails State Trails Advocacy Award for Virginia . . . a well deserved honor for a tireless trails advocate!

For more information on the award, please visit American Trails.

Who are we?
The Fauquier Trails Coalition is a small 501(3c) non-profit organization that works closely with the Fauquier County Parks & Recreation Department to develop new trails and help connect and maintain existing trails (or trail segments) in Fauquier County.

Fauquier County Parks and Recreation has a great chart on their website that provides information about both completed and planned trails within Fauquier County.

The County Connections Plan includes links to maps which detail trail planning and development

The Fauquier Trails Coalition hosts two trails related events each year -- The Great Pumpkin Ride in October, and the FTC 5K Trails Challenge in June.  Both events are fundraisers for the organization.

How can you help?

Come to a meeting!  We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00pm at the Warrenton Community Center (next to Taylor Middle School).

Join us for the Great Pumpkin Ride or the FTC 5K Trails Challenge!
